Elaine Yanni Fink present series, “Sacred Arts of the Angels,” consists of guilded watercolor and colored pencil. She began to create these inspirational images during a time of great personal struggle, as a way to calm herself and stay focused on creating something positive in her life. At some point, she began to write words to accompany the images. She cannot define where the words come from, as she considers herself neither a poet nor a philosopher. Perhaps they are divine guidance delivered by the angels, as some have suggested, or maybe they are messages from her own inner psyche to guide her and others through challenging times, or possibly she has tapped into the collective unconscious and is receiving messages from the spirit of all humankind. In either case, she merely writes the words as they flow into her consciousness.
